HERS / ECC Field Verification in Concord, CA

Title 24 field verification in Concord

Concord has a broad mix of existing homes, HVAC change-outs, electrification projects, remodels and ADUs. A replacement system may have a very different Title 24 verification scope from a larger alteration or new residential project, so we start with the address, CF1R and permit information. For contractors working across central Contra Costa, Concord also connects naturally with Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek, Martinez and nearby communities.

Concord permits and project documents

The City of Concord Building Division and Permit Center handle building permits within the city, including online permit applications and inspection-related services. For field verification, the most useful starting point is the project’s CF1R or other energy compliance documentation, along with the permit year and equipment information. The documents—not the city name alone—determine which HERS/ECC measures apply.

Common project types

We can support applicable verification for HVAC replacements, heat-pump installations, ADUs, remodels, additions and other residential projects when field verification is specified. Send the project information before scheduling so the required tests can be confirmed.

Having the project address, permit year, CF1R or other compliance documents, and installed equipment information available before scheduling helps confirm the correct verification scope. If the project documents call for multiple measures, those can be coordinated for the same site visit when practical.
